About Me

Filmmaker. Visual effects supervisor. Compositor.
I am passionate about the filmmaking process. It is my objective and journey to tell more and more grand stories - along the journey, meeting and working closely with incredibly talented artists of all disciplines in order to tell the story effectively together. Filmmaking to me is the combination and cohesion of every form of art, language and communication toward one goal: the story at hand.
In my career so far, I have directed and written three short films "My City" (2012), "Conjure" (2013) and "Tubgate: Cunningham's Scrap" (2018). The former starred the voice of actor Brian Cox (Churchill, Troy, Rise of the Planet of the Apes) - the first, and later second, actor I directed! The latter film starred Scott Kyle.

As a creative director, I have led and directed many short animations for clients over a 7 year period.

In visual effects, I have worked on a wealth of short films, television adverts, feature films and television series, most notably Outlander, Sex Education, Shetland, The Widow and Bounty Hunters.

In 2017, we won a BAFTA for the short "The Inescapable Arrival of Lazlo Petushki" - a film that I was visual effects supervisor on and responsible for the delivery of around 90 visual effects shots. That was followed by a Best Film win for Nae Pasaran at the same event in 2018.
